A classic example of the Heathcote regional style of Shiraz, it is medium to full bodied with an earthy nose and sumptuous plum fruit. The regional imprint is strong and sits comfortably alongside winemaking influences introducing vanilla and cedar notes from American oak, whilst judicious use of whole-bunch adds an intriguing impression of summer bbq – think grilled lamb and marinated capsicum. The tannins are medium and fine and contribute to the overall elegance of the wine.
